Functional Industries Earns
Highest CARF Accreditation

Functional Industries proudly announces it has once again been awarded a Three-Year Accreditation by CARF. This represents the highest level of accreditation achievable. Functional Industries, Inc. was recognized for accreditation in Employee Development Services, Employment Planning Services, Organizational Employment Services, and Community Employment Services: Job Development and Employment Supports.

This marks the eleventh consecutive Three-Year Accreditation awarded to Functional Industries, Inc. by CARF, the international accreditation authority in the fields of rehabilitation, behavioral health, and employment and community services. This level of accreditation resulted from findings during CARF’s recent on-site survey.

In a letter to Functional Industries Brian J. Boon, President and CEO of CARF, wrote:

"Please also be advised that the CARF surveyors made no recommendations, which signifies that they did not identify any areas of nonconformance to the standards. This is an extraordinary accomplishment, as only 3 percent of CARF surveys result in no recommendations."

Established in 1966, CARF is the preeminent internationally recognized accreditation authority promoting and advocating for quality rehabilitation services. With headquarters in Tucson, Arizona and accredited organizations throughout the United States and Canada, CARF develops standards to help organizations measure and improve the quality of their rehabilitation programs. CARF is a privately funded, not-for-profit organization.
